This is off topic or might be wrong thread but what was up with that ceremonial pucl drop last night? Jimmy Jackson loved it, thought it was typical Hartnell, but G looked kinda confused/annoyed. Never shook Josi's hand either.

Am I missing something?

Stolarz NHL SV% .901 in 16 games

Lyon NHL SV% .894 in 13 games

The main difference between their numbers is that when Lyon was injured, Hak left him in for a whole period against Buffalo.
Hakstol also started Stolarz while he was having back spasms.

Don’t know if that lead to his injury, but it didn’t help.

So each year, I project the forwards points totals, and then I keep track of scoring rates for no real reason other than fun. I thought it would be cool to see how the Flyers rates would change post Hak.

33 games in, here are the projections for the remainder of the season. My projection assume that player will play in every remaining game this season. My predictions of each stat is in
parenthesis. I'll update these around game 40 and game 60.

Flyers fans. I am in need of some fantasy advice. What is the consensus on Hart's role when Elliott is back from injury? Immediately sent back to the A? Thanks for any insight!

Sorry if this has been addressed already.

Likely Hart is here to stay. I also think Elliot is far from returning but not sure. I’ve read somewhere that his season is in jeopardy but didn’t see it again so who knows. I’d get Hart. Flyers are about to go on a Flyer run.

Josi had a big smile on his face. They were just having some fun. You read that wrong IMO.

Thanks. I truly couldn't tell when I watched it and was a little confused. I had a feeling it was all in fun, but G just looked way to serious and pissed.

Reality is, I'll take a pissed off serious G any day. Means the team is actually serious

I posted it in another thread, but:

Brian Burke called Holmgren to ask about that face off as he has never seen anything like that before. Holmgren said it was because Hartnell made a $100 bet on who would win. He laughed and said "that's Harts all the way". Didn't elaborate on the bet any further.

I'm glad G won. Not beating a d-man would've been a little embarrassing.

Could be an opportunity here. That injury maybe balances out the playing field with the sense of urgency that the rest of the league knows exists in our front office. Hagg would love it there.

On the topic of Hart, i'm sure it's been said by now, but if not - so thankful he is a gamer and had a strong set of games. IF we still end up looking outside for another bridge vet, at least our hands aren't as tied as they were prior to him coming up. We would have been bent over for sure, now, not so much!

Usually when they say stuff like that it means he has some knowledge of that being discussed.

I’ve already said it and people are not happy but quick is ok to get IMO.

I think we will see Fletcher well Simmonds at the deadline. Maybe make a big deal involving him and say Toronto. I would like Raffl re-signed. He always give 100% on the ice and is a productive player. He will be cheaper to sign still and can plug him in anywhere around the lineup.

Panarin is my off season target. Especially with Giroux back at center.
