I’m a little surprised Maksimov didn’t get an invite. Or is he not eligible and I’m out too lunch?

Bah that’s upsetting. I would have liked to see what he can do there. Shame he is a super under the radar prospect for us.He’s eligible but he had a cold streak and unfortunately it was during the two game Canada/Russia audition.
Another 2 assists for Samorukov tonight, giving him 2-9-11 in his past 7 games to go with a +8. I'd be surprised if this isn't the best offensive hot streak he's had in his junior career, he'll be going into the WJHC with a ton of confidence.

My god. Craig Button's (biggest idiot on TSN, and that's a challenge) hatred of the Oilers knows no bounds. Talking about 2 dmen who are going to be key for Team Canada. Dobson and Smith...
I just heard that. ****ing assclown.
Weird considering how highly he's talked of Bouchard in the past.My god. Craig Button's (biggest idiot on TSN, and that's a challenge) hatred of the Oilers knows no bounds. Talking about 2 dmen who are going to be key for Team Canada. Dobson and Smith...
Did he primarily speak highly of Bouchard before the Oilers drafted him? I've never heard Button say anything really positive about any Oiler other than McDavid, and even then he seems to be speaking through clenched teeth. Kinda like Hrudey or so many other media men.
He’s still fighting injury right now, I don’t think he’ll play in the tournament.Safin's with the Czech squad but I didn't see his name listed in the stats for both their prelim games so far. Hockey Canada's site doesn't show all the players dressed for the prelims and I haven't seen anything that he's been released.
Kemp makes team USA. Looks like 2nd pairing
