I just think it's important how we frame these sort of stats, that's all.

He's been out for 8 goals, but 3 were EN net goals and 1 was SH. I think that makes it look a little bit less catastrophic.

Halifax coach said Ostap Safin is close to being ready to play, but they are waiting until he is 100% ready for the playoffs.

Hope he has a good playoffs and Memorial Cup. It's been a rough year for him.

Everybody knew he had work to defensively. He looked like he was learning while he was here so i’m not too concerned.

If he was great offensively and defensively he would have been a top 5 pick.

Not concerned, realizing he may take more time than I thought is all

Also it was very evident that he calmed his game down and simplified things a bit at the NHL level. The plays for him to learn and make mistakes is the place where he’s at right now.

Yeah it takes time, I hope we're patient with him and develop him properly Give him good time in the AHL against men to learn how to defend at this level.
But with our organization you can't really bet on that.
