Tonight's SCSU-Denver game didn't disappoint, wasn't as good as Friday night but still was a lot of fun to watch as it was another back and forth high scoring game end SCSU ended up being too much for Denver in the 4-3 win which gave them the sweep.

Poehling with another strong game, thought he was going to score on a backhand shot in the slot but it fired it too high. Stapley continues to put up points, had 2 big chances to score in the slot but both shots were blocked.

Koberstein with his first point of the season tonight. He had an assist on the GWG late in the third to give Alaska a 4-3 win against Lake Superior.

Stapley may end up being another 7th Round steal by Habs after Evans and Primeau.

Moose Jaw ties the game with 90 seconds left in the game after being down 3-1 against Red Deer. Brook with an assist on the game-tying goal.

Gorniak scored with 20 seconds left to give the insurance goal for Wisconsin. They won 3-1 against Minnesota.

So you're saying the habs have shifted from 5th rounds to 7th ?

Good thing Montreal kept trading next year's 7th for a current one.

He's got speed and some nice hands and he's a right handed shot.

Habs don't have many that are lethal. Suzuki could be huge for us.

Barring any major injuries , 18-19 is turning out to be a really good year prospect wise. A few of the CHL guys aren't exactly where I'd want them to be production wise but they've all at least had a few flashes. A few of the guys that are realistically in their last year in junior are looking like they're ready to make an impact too (Suzuki, Poehling and Brook mainly) . That's not even counting Kotka .

Is that the salesman's way of saying an empty netter?

Yes! Honestly when I saw the stat, it didn't specify it was an empty netter. I thought it was because of the time of the goal. But I didn't want to say it was when I wasn't sure it was.

Owen Sound up 1-0. Suzuki with an assist on the goal.

watched Suzuki from a week ago vs Hamilton, what a game he had as he scored 2 goals but had so many chances if not for the good goaltending from Hamilton he would have had 4 or 5 pts as he had 8 shots on goal, 3 breakaways which the one he didn't score on he had 2 shots.
