I'd say he's 95% sure to be in Laval, barring a terrible camp . He's got nothing to gain from a 5th year in the dub.

there's no rush, perhaps they sign him after the development camp.

I wouldn't say that the cupboards are full, yet. It's getting better. It is still to be determined if they are filling up with quality or crap, however.

We're in much better shape in terms of prospects than we were a couple of years ago for sure.
But the future on the left side of D is still murky, so let's hope for high picks for a couple more years.

they solved the issue, Alaska runs on oil money and that helped fund their sports programs but oil is up and while I haven't followed the situation much in the past year it sounds like everything is solid. It's his Senior year so we'll see how it goes for him, he more then doubled his assists and he's on a terrible team so hopefully he shows something.

Hard to tell. Habs fans and fans around the league thought we did well in 2012 and that draft sucked in comparison.

We'll know in 5 years how the habs did.

But if I'm not misaken, even if he signs an ELC, but plays in Laval, his contract slides. So they still have him for 4 seasons instead of 3.

Yeah, you are right. My idea would have worked if he was born before September 15.

Im a fan of Mete bigtime, but like you i am also of the belief he hasnt "graduated" yet tho.
