I think Ray will deal McLeod if he receives a decent offer.

He's fast but doesn't really do anything that well.

Doesn't look like a Top-15 pick.
I just don't see his speed. I was expecting another Wood, but he doesn't really use his speed much. Maybe a season in the A will change things.

the problem i’ve noticed is that when he tries to use his speed through the neutral zone he loses the puck a lot. and when he does gain the zone he still loses the puck a lot. needs to know when to pass and dump it. hopefully he learns that in the a, or he better learn to throw his weight around and get really sound defensively or he won’t be much use up here

He is really raw in that sense. He is loose with the puck along the boards as well.

So what does Binghamton's lineup look like?

Actually, considering that Seney and Rooney are still with the Devils... I would like to see that lines (or something like that).

Eric Tangradi - Michael McLeod - Joey Anderson
Marian Studenic - Blake Speers - Nick Lappin
Blake Pietila - Yegor Sharangovich - Nathan Bastian
Brandon Baddock - Brandon Gignac - Kurtis Gabriel

Yegor Yakovlev - Brian Strait (Eric Gryba)
Michael Kapla - John Ramage
Colby Sissons - Josh Jacobs
Colton White

Cam Johnson - MacKenzie Blackwood

Tangradi-McLeod-Lappin

ex: Gabriel, Baddock, other guys signed to AHL deals (I think there's 2 more here)

Yakovlev-Jacobs
Strait-Ramage

Johnson

Something like this, anyway.

Binghamton is going to have quite the offense this year, very deep.

I'm not convinced they have the AHL strong link players to have an above-average offense. Lappin is obviously a 1st line AHLer and Tangradi has been a reliable scorer in the AHL too. I think there's a lot of other good players, and certainly an average offense is possible - but they have a pretty weak defense corps and the team is quite young.

Yeah, unless Dea gets there and they add to their defense it's not a playoff team.

I think Yakovlev is going to have a hell of a season down there until he is called up. The defensive depth, I’m not so sure about.

Don't know yet, only preseason

But encouraging signs

Johnson made 36 saves tonight

Binghamton Devils: News
That's a lot of saves.

I liked Johnson in our preseason. He was pretty calm, cool, and collected. I know we weren't the only team interested in signing him. It would be nice if he turned into something.

Once Cory returns, it will be Lack and Johnson in Bing.
