Better get their **** together just to lock up the playoffs 1.4 goals per game last 5 games and they are targeting bottom 6 forwards. Like everyone has said we need to bump guys down the line up for some real depth.

Dorion is trying to flip Lazar for a 1st so he can use those to get Duchene tomorrow, which will be perfect since the Avs are in Ottawa to play Thursday.

I'm not a fan of the moves so far. This team is not built to contend this season. Stalberg and Burrows are okay players, but they don't push our team into contending status.

We only have 3 picks in the upcoming draft: 1st, 4th, and 6th, and we already traded our 2018 2nd rounder in the Brassard deal.

It's possible, but prior to the trade deadline moves we didn't even have 12 healthy forwards that Boucher trusted and wanted to play.

With Ryan injured, that is pretty much where we were at with forwards who Boucher would actually give minutes to. Neil and Lazar get dressed but barely play. Despite the fact that Ryan doesn't get played like a star, he still gets 15 minutes a night so he'd give us another one. So with Burrows+Stalberg, we're presumably at 13 forwards Boucher actually is okay with using when we're healthy.

So it isn't like it's fishy that we acquired 2 players and one maybe player on a 2 way contract. It doesn't come off like we're stocking up extra bodies at all. Just that we didn't have enough bodies prior to the deadline.
