Bracco is way too high on most lists IMHO.

My top 5:

1) Marner
2) Nylander
3) Brown- very high on him and he's done nothing but prove himself more time and time again.
4) Dermott- high on him as well.
5) Kapanen

The top 20 prospects are:

1) Marner
2) Nylander
3) Kapanen
4) C. Brown
5) Dermott
6) Bracco
7) Harrington
8) A. Johnson
9) Leipsic
10) Loov
11) Percy
12) Valiev
13) Bailey
14) Shoshnikov
15) Leivo
16) Gauthier
17) Bibeau
18) Korostelev
19) Hymen
20) Timashov

That's a great list for the top 20. Most of these kids outside of Marner/Nylander will bust but not all of them. In terms of prospect depth it's outstanding. Verhaghe and Granberg aren't even on this list anymore!

I can't speak for others, but I have Bracco so high because he broke Patty Kane's assist record for the USA national Development Team. His overall numbers were also right there with Kane and Kessel too. That's a pretty amazing feat given how many good players did not produce such numbers in that league.
His offensive gifts are elite, but needs to work on his defensive game - which is pretty much the case for all of these type of players.

The real knock against him is his size, but what has me not too worried about that is his confidence. It's often mind over matter. If you think you're a beast and play like one, it won't hold you back as much. (to a certain extent, of course)

Gauthier is pretty low on most of your lists.

I had him at 8. I think he will be a top-notch 3rd or 4th centre. His defensive game will be elite, as will his face-off skills. I can't put him higher than that because I've reserved those spots for guys I think have first line potential or elite two-way potential. I don't know if Gauthier's offensive instincts and foot speed will allow him to reach that level, but I may be wrong.

Where's Andreas?

Guys he's as talented as the big three. Don't write him off just because he's still in Sweden.

Looks like 98.9% of you have given up on Carter Verhaeghe...We'll see about that.

Gauthier is pretty low on most of your lists.

His game outside of scoring is Elite, or carries Elite potential. I assume he falls on most lists because he hasn't proven the scoring aspect of his game.

I'm not as doubtful on that as others, which is why i have him much higher.
His passing skills should lend themselves well to playing with pro-level players, but he has also found a home in front of the net and if given to continue developing that role, he should be able to get a lot of garbage production from there.

I do see him putting up some points on the Marlies next season, but a lot depends on a lot of things, including where he is slotted.

1. Marner
2. Nylander
3. Brown
4. Kapanen
5. Bracco
6. Dermott
7. Percy
8. Johnson
9. Leipsic
10. Korostelev

After 7, it became pretty hard to rank them. Lots of players who could fit the 8-10 spot. I was torn on who to put at 10 between the GOAT and Korostelev, but chose Korostelev because of his upside. Really liking our prospect pool right now. For the first time in forever, our prospect pool is looking great.

For me:
Marner
Nylander
Brown
Johnson
Percy
Kapanen
Bracco
Dermott
Loov
Korostelov

I'm pretty high on korostelov though. Same as Johnson though I think Johnson is being a bit underrated here. Tough to leave out some of our guys, which is actually nice to say. HM to the goat, verhaeghe, leipsic, Bailey & soshnikov. I like a lot of our prospects.

Anyone who has Scott Harrington as a top 10 prospect in this organization is clueless.

I suspect the shiney new toy factor comes into play here.

Harrington is not a top 10 prospect in our organization. He's closer to 15th. We have better prospects than him.

Do people want the first poll to go up?
