Assuming Regin's shoulder is good as new, he's a better faceoff taker. At least according to stats from previous years.

Turris, Regin and Smith were practicing faceoffs with Mark Reeds after Wednesday's practice, Smith and Regin were pretty equal, Turris needs work.

Depends on your league.

If you're in a super-shallow league, I'd probably avoid him, but in nay standard sized league, I think he'd make for a great late-round pick.

my advice: if you're in a four person league like i am, don't be stupid like me and pick him.

I think he may play the first couple of games. He's on form, and used to playing. This will give Andy a few more practices to get back in the groove before picking up the reins.

I don't think Methot is a top pairing defender but he's a 2nd pair D-man IMO. We will have to use him on the top pairing this year though, as he will likely play with Karlsson. Apparently he's capable to play huge minutes, so it shouldn't be a problem

Methot only has 4 full seasons in the NHL so it's not like there is no place for his game to grow. Playing with Karlsson could do wonders to him.

Idea might be to give them a good chance to win with lehner beast and then start the HOME opener with our #1, Anderson.
