Viktor Arvidsson left today's game with some upper-body discomfort and he was unable to return. He is being evaluated by the Predators' medical team and we'll share more information as soon as we have it. #Preds

That sounds a whole lot like he's done for the year.

Ellis-trouble is you don’t skate with your wrist.
Duchene- how close is close? 1,2,3 games or 1,2,3 weeks?
Forsberg- I guess working back is farther out than close or closer.
As usual, where injuries are concerned, these comments say absolutely nothing.
And Ardvisson , being on the trip, should speak to him having the possibility of playing in one of the games. But not skating at the morning skate says otherwise.

Kind of a side bar to this subject but still on topic. If you have a youth player that wants to take the ear protectors off of their helmet, this is why the answer is no. Hopefully, the refs would notice and not let them play but you never know with them.
Hey, remember when they hadn’t invented the dangly throat protector thing yet ?
Goalies got their throats slashed, catchers got bat shards stuck in their necks.
That was a very good invention.

And the same goes for a lot of other little protective things. Goalie kid wants no more dangler. It blocks his sight looking down. But he has also had 2 of them split by shots.
