Benn and Sharp are way better than Marty defensively, every team needs PK specialists. Not to mention Benn can hit like a truck. There's more to winning than a player who can feast on scoring against a weak SE division. There's already plenty of scoring in Crosby, Stamkos, Giroux, Tavares, Thornton, Perry, Getzlaf, Toews etc.

You just listed 8 centers, only 2 of which can play wing, and we're talking about team needs? He also has a higher ppg against the NE division but ok, right winning the guy who's ppg+ in the playoffs and international competition, or do you not think St.louis is a big game performer?

8 centers? Perry is most definitely a RW and I assume the "two" you meant who could play wing were Stamkos, Tavares and Giroux (three).

Again, you're missing the point. You don't think there are enough "big game" performers in Crosby, Toews, Tavares, Giroux, Perry and Getzlaf? It's about evening out the talent with quality role players who can be efficient even when they aren't producing points.

I see the RWs being Giroux, Nash, Perry and Sharp.
