Habs just got smaller for sure. Dach was one of the biggest reasons for excitement entering this season. It sounds like he may be out several months. The more things change the more they stay the same.

What happens if we repeat the 750 man games lost? That would vindicate the previous training staff. The f***ing team appears jinxed.I never wanna see anyone, fans or media, say the Habs can't possibly lose as many man games as they have.
They can, they probably will and no need to throw that voodoo out there.
It is puzzling... my theory is becuase of their style of play. Sure, some injuries are just random and happen to everyone. But the sustained high number year after year gotta be more than random. Habs are very passive, they rarely instigate physical play, they block shots, absorb hits, defend...I never wanna see anyone, fans or media, say the Habs can't possibly lose as many man games as they have.

We would actually be so much better with Matheson Ghule/Xhekaj manning the point than inserting Anderson. I would love to see Xhekaj given free rein to crowd the net while either Caufield or Suzuki swap places with him. This would take some forward thinking which has been in short supply with our special teams. The good news is that there is no "can't pass the puck" duo Anderson/Gallagher on the same PP wave. The bad news is that PP1 swapped Dach for Anderson...
Anderson has little chemistry with anyone. We've seen the film and it isn't a short one.Poor Slaf. Stuck with anderson again. They have zero chemistry.
Dach injury is terrible for Dach and Slaf developement
RHP worked well with him. Newhook seemed to work in pre-season as well.Does anyone have chemistry with Anderson?

Too bad deals don’t happen at this time of year but who knows if Anderson couldn’t be packaged in the 2nd half.Anderson has little chemistry with anyone. We've seen the film and it isn't a short one.
When you look at the cap hits, it shouldn't be thin with talent up front...I know it's early and we just lost one of our prized young players, but damn this team is thin with talent up front.
I see it now, this will be a bottom 5 team for sure.
The talent drops off significantly after Suzuki and Caufield. When you look at the cap hits, it shouldn't be thin with talent up front...

Maybe RHP/Newhook/Anderson would be a better choice. Put Slaf with CC/Suzuki until Dach is back...
Stop it! He's got a contract to play big minutes in the NHL and none of us know what is in the fine print.Gallagher on PP. And this is everything one needs to know about MSL's wisdom.
All you have to do now is focus on Suzuki and Caufield. That's it. One trick pony team again. The talent drops off significantly after Suzuki and Caufield.
Red Fisher use to say "show me the players".
''best'' ok there top 3 maybeWell top 5 becomes a very strong reality now.
Best player is gone for a long period of time.
