I so wanna be amused and impressed by this kid like some of you seem to be but I just don't ever see him living up to all the hype.. He should be starting to look like he's comfortable in these situations and he looks like he just picked up a stick sometimes.. Never gonna see 20 goals ever IMO..

often watch young NA players in euroleagues and think they should be starting to look like theyre comfortable in these situations but they looks like just picked up a stick sometimes..

eventually they develop really good

i don't know why people hate toronto so much. don't get it.

My hate for them started when Burke became GM... It dates all way back to the ducks/wild final 4 series in the playoffs... RC was the head coach at the time... Its not that i dont like the players its just i cant stand Burke or RC

Good game guys.

You have a lot to build on. Jonas Brodin is fantastic.

Just need a couple finishers.

What they hell are you guys paying Heatley for?

Good game tonight guys, obviously it was a lot closer than the score indicates. Liked that I saw some life from Neiderreiter, I wasn't sure he was going to make it on Long Island.

Best of luck the rest of the way.

A place.
The politeness of Leafs fans is catching me off-guard.

I think we could probably relate to them. The only championships either of our regions have won in recent history were World Series wins. The leafs haven't won a cup in how long? And we've been teased by the Vikings for how many decades? Plus you know, hockey suffering.

I got no problem with them at all really.

I dont understand how we lost that game other than Kuemper. Leafs played pretty mediocre all night, Reimer was remarkable. If the Wild play like this every night, we will be winning 9 out of 10 of these.

Gråvlung was stunning today, i hope they get someone who actually can score some goals to their line.

In a somewhat defense of Kuemper, the first one wasn't his fault, just looks bad due to the low volume of shots faced; the 2nd one was absolutely inexcusable and was a pretty big backbreaker (now we kind of know how Dallas felt); 3rd was part him, part Suter.

I was mildly surprised by how good your possession game was. As other have said, Brodin impressed all night.

That's how we've been winning most of our games really - great goaltending, great special teams, and capitalizing on our chances. Been like that since last year. If we can get our gritty regulars back (Clarkson, Kulemin, JVR) our possession game can improve quite a bit.

Vanek is a must for your team.
