How the **** is this medically possible

Internet soft tissue specialist here.

The fibers probably keep growing out because there is a dead end in the circulation going through them. Just had to pray it found the other end and started growing into each other, intertwining. Then weeks of putting some stress on it in different ways to force it to strengthen evenly.

God, it's so scary to think how close we were to never getting to see the same McDavid again.

The human body is an amazing thing.

The buddy of a coworker had the proverbial "bullets taken out of the chamber" after he and his wife were done having kids. The Doc told him once his samples came back empty in a few months, he should still get checked every couple of years to make sure his lines didn't regrow or reattach on their own as it's very rare, but can happen.

About three years go by, his wife gets pregnant. They almost get divorced because of course he's snipped and he's convinced she's fooling around on him (who wouldn't!). Bear in mind, he listened to other buddies of his that had been snipped who told him not to bother with the periodic samples because its nearly impossible to be fertile again and they were shooting blanks for years. So, he listened to their advice instead .

Anyways, his wife pleads for him to go in and submit a sample as she's saying she's a faithful wife. He agrees to submit one but tells her if his sample is showing clean, he's walking out. Be damned if his lines didn't find each other or regrow and he became fertile again as his sample had plenty of swimmers in it.
Did she divorce him after this?

I think I should get checked....when I had my vasectomy done, the freezing on my left nut didn't take, and the pain when the doctor went to cauterize was indescribable.

I was never a person to think they owed anything to a player getting pAid millions to play a sport he loves.

After seeing what he did just to make it back for his team and city, I've switched my thought. They owe him everything and if they are still in a playoff position after next 4-6 games Holland needs to make a splash because McD effing deserves a stud LW

And I also found it interesting that Kassian was featured in it soo much, I think him and McD are way way closer than people think, shows when McD was first one in after turtle.

Well he beat his time from last year I believe. So it certainly doesn't appear that he is feeling any ill-effects. I'm sure he is a little "behind" of where he would have been had to been able to train normally this past off-season, but I'm sure he'll make that up this off-season. McDavid minus 1 normal off-season of training is still clearly better than pretty much anybody else, lol.

Also, it's just a BS all-star thing that no one really cares about. Probably 75% of the players in the league could "win" the fastest skater competition on any given night. It's his speed of processing (how quickly he thinks the game) that makes him so dangerous, not flat out foot speed.

That's what I think too. You'd think Drai would be in there but nope. Aside from him chatting with McD while he was still with crutches, he wasn't shown at all.

I'm betting if Kass comes back, even if slightly overpaid, it might be because McDavid wants him back.

I wouldn't think cross cutting around corners would be helpful to his speed. He was at 45kph on straightaway there. Barzel wasn't.

I agree with this except to say that the 'competition' as its currently laid out isnt really conducive to Connors strengths.
He has flat out straight line speed and puck handling that no player can match.

If they were to give every player a puck then the results would be much different...even with the cornering.

All that aside I completely agree with you about the All Star weekend being a bunch of useless BS.
I havent watched a minute of it....really couldnt care less about it.

Its about time I do the walk of shame again too. It's so awkward at the health clinic.

No joke, the same happened to me. Maybe not to the same degree, but damn did I get a shot of pain.

I wonder if docs are doing this on purpose as some kind of sick pleasure now :)

Connor was caught a little off guard during the competition. He expected to get hooked, hacked and tackled thruout, so was taken aback when it didn't equate to his usual game situation.

Wow.
Tough to watch at times. What an incredible young man. Not just for his obvious hockey skills.

Pretty pissed though that the org is still seemingly stuck in OBC mode. Not disclosing anything and hoping horseshoes get shoved up their ass again.
How does a newly hired GM not be made aware of this? How would the fella that forked 10Gs out for season tickets feel if it was announced that McDavid was done for the year?

More ineptness

I usually like you as a poster & enjoy reading you contributions but this is about as bad a hot take as I would ever imagine.

Just terrible in every word after the first paragraph.
