How is Simmonds open in the high slot?
Some awful defending in the 2nd period.

Last year we were near impossible to beat in the 2nd.
Now we've let 6 goals in (or 5) in just 3 games.

Bonino, Hartnell and Aberg line has been really really good. Smith has also been great. Girard hasn't been good in the defensive zone. Emelin-Subban looking good. Ekholm, too.

Our JOFA and Fiala have been just horrible

Girard started out reslly well, that second goal was on him though. Think he has been trying to make up for it since. Just needs to settle down.

Nothing drastic has to be deducted from this team just yet, but 3 games in, they have looked like a lottery team.
Losing leads? check.
Can't score goals against tough matchups? check.
Playing against a worse matchup on paper and losing convincingly? check.
