It's a spicy fried chicken that I can't recall the name of and Thai fried noodles from a little place in Hiroshima station. They had a full page of shumai, we got pork, oolong, and shrimp, and they were all fantastic.

Teku’s are dumb glassware. They are like 14 or 15 oz so you can never fit a full beer. If they made that particular glass bigger, it’d be a win.

I made bourbon maple chicken tonight. It turned out far too bourbony and mapley yet had almost no taste at the same time.
I’m so disappointed

Have to laugh

I wanted to get to Blue Monkey Tavern in Merchantville yesterday for the finals of Malt Madness. For those who don't know they had 8 area breweries Tonewood, Flying Fish, Bonesaw, Double Nickel, Kings Road, Farm Truck, Mechanical and Dr Brewlittes bring increasing amounts of beer each round. First to kick the supply advanced. Mechanical and Brewlittles brought people out like crazy, or people who could just chug their beers, it seems as most times they were in the matchup the supply was gone by 6PM.

The order above is what I believe the breweries were eliminated.

Their German and Czech beers are so crisp and clean

100%. And yet so subtly different when you go through a couple of them. They have an Italian Pilsner called Il Cielo that is up there on my single beer to be stuck on an island list.

Only thing I did different was marinated it longer than it called for. That probably accounts for the overly strong maple and bourbon taste but doesn’t account for the lack of any flavor at the same time.
It was beyond bland

I know it's sacrilege to some but I don't drink coffee. So it's the last thing I want in my beer.
