man there's no possible reasoning for Noesen to sit unless he really starts to suck. especially when it comes to playoffs -- he works well with zajac/coleman in a shutdown role and still contributes offensively. But in the end someone else is probably going to get hurt.Yeah I don't see where you're putting Bratt in once MarJo comes back

Other than Boyle who we know's not coming out cause of his playoff experience/toughness, and becuase he's the 4C that wins faceoffs, who are you sitting for Bratt? Noesen's picked it up again and he's probably even gonna have to sit, Gibbons has been great. I'm not thrilled with Grabner but they're probably not scratching him either, especially since he's useful on the PK.
You could sit Wood maybe but then you'd just sit him for Noesen, not Bratt and put Gibbons at LW.
Didn’t he coach the Oakland Raiders?

That was the OTHER John Madden.
Mark Madden? Didn't he used to do color on WCW back in the day? I seem to recall finding him annoying as hell.
Yep. It's the same CLOWN.
I will be so disappointed for Bratt if he's relegated to removing splinters out of his butt in the postseason. I don't think that would do much for his development, imo.
but boyle has post season reps and is ok in the circle.
cant sit him. plus he has cancer. wed look silly sitting him. its not like we have tons of people who can play center. sitting boyle is the only way we see bratt.
Good god

Can't tell if sarcastic or not.
But it would make absolutely no sense to just sit Bratt for the playoffs where him PLAYING in that type of environment is more important than Boyle getting reps because he has the experience(and feel-good story). At some point, you need to think about not just the present but the future as well. Who knows what happens next season? If the Devils make it(and it looks like it's shaping up to be that way), I truly hope Hynes gives Bratt the opportunity.

I remember him posting a picture of himself on a boat or on the beach (I forgot exactly) on vacation and he actually looked pretty good with his shirt off. He didn't have much belly fat or a big gut like many retired guys. They gave out trading cards today, Kenny had the best one, check out weight and the bottom question hahaha
Those tribune articles are such a breath of fresh air. They are all good reads.I remember him posting a picture of himself on a boat or on the beach (I forgot exactly) on vacation and he actually looked pretty good with his shirt off. I still laugh at Gomer's Players Tribune article or wherever I read it, where he'd be in the showers as a rookie and Dano would look at himself in the mirror and say ''How can a guy this old be in such good shape and look so good!'' to himself or something like that! He was only 35 then! It's not like he was old! And Gomer talking about how they called him king!
I really like them, but some of them are also kind of heartbreaking and tough to read. Those tribune articles are such a breath of fresh air. They are all good reads.
That’s what makes them special. Its a lot more personal coming from the players themselves.I really like them, but some of them are also kind of heartbreaking and tough to read.

What the hell happened to any of those 3 guys? I haven't seen Tony Schiavone in years. I don't think he made the jump to WWE after they bought out WCW. Was Borash on TNA? I really didn't get into TNA much. I remember Schiavone in WWF when I was in like 6th or 7th grade. I figured most people don't remember his WWF stint.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Bratt back in tomorrow, even before the possible Palmieri injury. Fresh set of legs for the back to back.
