If Canada medals then that means their talent level is really high and Chartier is so good that he almost made the winners team :D
I prefer to choose losers out of spite. We could always say they were horribly mismanaged and would have won if they had McHartier.

Swiss or Russia please.

Schoenborn is still a dark spot though.

He won't make the NHL with his current on-ice discipline. I count 2-3 suspend-able plays so far this season.

Not at all comparabling styles, but maybe if he has a really bad season this year, he'll come back to Portland next year and have a good season à la Mike McCarron and what he has been doing this year in London.

On a sidenote, we drafted quite a few late 95's. Goldobin, Bergman, Shoenborn, Vanier, Labanc.

Galimov had a nice goal two days ago where he picked the puck off the boards and skated into the slot and sniped it far side high blocker. Also had a goal and assist in today's win.

Goldobin always seems like a good interview. Favorite part was that it didn't seem like he even consider going back to Russia.

/\ I like his personality

It's hard to tell from transcriptions but it seems like he's at very least a thoughtful young man

Dylan Sadowy just scored his 20th goal of the season giving him 41 points in 32 1/2 games (they're playing vs. SSM right now). He's having an excellent season playing big minutes in all situations for a not very good Saginaw team.

He had 36 points in 68 games last season.

Apparently, Kelowna has acquired Draisaitl's rights, and all signs are pointing to the Oilers sending him down, so yeah there's that

That'll send Chartier down a line, not good.

No it won't. If for some reason EDM sends Draisaitl back to the WHL I highly doubt Kelowna will break up the Goulbourne-Chartier-Merkley line or at the very least, the Chartier-Merkely pairing.

Adding Draisaitl (and the recently acquired Morrisey) to an already elite team would be pretty awesome. I love how CHL teams can load up for Memorial Cup runs.

Labanc had a goal and 4 pts yesterday to tie the longest point streak in franchise history of 21 games by Little. Has the same amount of points too through that stretch at 42 in 21 games.
