For those in the know, is it Bouchard over Tkachuk?
Good question
For those in the know, is it Bouchard over Tkachuk?
Things we saw in Boqvist's JUNIOR game over last 2 years (part of the reason why we didn't rank him as high as others even prior to this season) which we feared might pose challenges to him when playing against pros (or NHL caliber competition down the line) were so far confirmed in the games we saw of him playing against pros. Those issues aren't completely gone when he plays against juniors, but they don't jump out nearly as much, mainly because junior players aren't good enough for the most part to challenge him in that way...We feel like his intensity and level of engagement defensively and away from the puck are not at that high of a level...Those issues to us seem more related to mental attributes than to the need of adding more strength...
Yep i am. Hoping for Dobson to continue on the same path. And for the Sens to draft him.Anyone watching the Mem cup final?

Not happening.
Probably and i won't be mad of they don't. I just like his play a lot.Not happening.
That's unfortunate, but not surprising considering where the organization's priorities are.Not happening.

Dobson is impressive.. but the one stealing the spotlight is the goalie Paddock..
Anyone watching the Mem cup final?
Titan really need to get out of their zone a lot more....feels like a goal against is inevitable with so much time in their zone.
He's had a good tournament... made an impact for sureThat Viel kid just guaranteed himself a pro contract somewhere. Two amazing shifts by that kid.
Fitzpatrick is 20 .. losing goalie Paddock was 17Damn...dominant 5 minutes after that bs call against. Imagine being a 17 year old kid and getting a shutout to win the Memorial Cup? nice win for those kids.

pourquoi...Not happening.

all semi-insiders should be banned from posting quick one word two word answers like this ahha
Agree about the brain, but his hands do suck though. Get that kid to spend the summer doing poweredgepro with Duchene. Won't fix the brain but migh helpt a bit. He take forever to get a shot off. It's Ceci's brain, not his hands, that hold him back. He thinks the game a second too slow.
In the 40+ games I've seen of Dobson the past 2 years, hands have never been an issue, nor has it been brought up by the dozen or so of scouts I've chatted with this year alone.
I mean he doesn't have hands like Boqvist or Hughes, that's definitely true. There is nothin better concerning about them whatsoever though, no matter how many times the puck has bounced and bobbled these 3 nationally televised Mem Cup games.
The Sens won't be drafting Dobson regardless, so the point is moot.
hes just trying to find the perfect angle... also his partners all suck.Agree about the brain, but his hands do suck though. Get that kid to spend the summer doing poweredgepro with Duchene. Won't fix the brain but migh helpt a bit. He take forever to get a shot off.
