The difference from Jaros at last years world junior to this one are massive. Really put some work in looks like.

Well. This game will give me a better idea of what White brings. I'm only looking for toe drags.

Currently 1-1 between Harvard and Boston College. White has 1 assist and is a 0 +/-, Harvard had a breakaway and White almost caught the guy, but Harvard still scored, was a good effort on the back check though.

Played pretty well. He's in on absolutely everything when he's on the ice. Pretty decent passing.

You guys should be happy. He'll be in the league for a long, long time.

Keeps on producing at a very nice clip

Agreed, looked quite good. Definitely has top line ability, but don't think he'll have the same impact as Larkin if he enters the NHL right away, as he doesn't have the same speed (understandably, as Larkin is super fast :P). Look forward to watching him a bit more in order to get a better read on him :)

I don't know about toP line. That's a truly elite group. Third line center who won't have much problem filling in on line 2. A high end third line center at that though.

Depends what you're definition of a top line player is. For me an unquestionable top line player is a guy who can put up 60 points a season, with a decent all-around game (example: Ryan).

White looks to have the potential to produce anywhere from 40-60 points, but it's his all-around game that makes him so valuable. He's drawn comparisons to Bergeron for a reason. If White is producing at the level of a clear 2nd line forward (45-50 points), I think that's enough offense for him to be considered a top line forward considering his advanced two-way game.

Agreed. Realistically, he's more likely to trend to the second line, but wouldn't look out of place on the first (which is what I mean by top line ability). If he ends up being our third line centre once he solidifies a spot in the NHL, it would mean our top 2 centres are very good.

Cool. Like Phillips

Implying?

Chris Phillips was a great dman for 90% of his 1000+ game career, one of the better ones even. Him being played out of his depth in his twilight years due to Cowen and Weircioch sucking on top of management overestimating our depth does nothing to diminish his accomplishment.

The amount of disrespect Chris Phillips gets from this fanbase is ****ing sickening.

He didn't even lift the puck on that goal. Total bust.
