Explain to me how I was wrong on MDC last season? You can see my posts from last years camp seeing the change in him. He had a great year last season in the AHL, AHL all star. Was pacing for 40 goals. His roll on the isles last season was mainly 3rd line no PP. He's defensively responsible. Played what? 2 games with barzal? It's guaranteed that MDC has a great season next year.

Yea, this isn't even worth my time. I'll just say you are right.

Dano is still young. He's a 1st rounder with upside. He hasn't been given a real chance. I'd take a shot. Low risk, high reward. Trade Ho Sang and a 1st for him.
You want to trade Ho Sang AND a FIRST round pick for a guy that has averaged less points per game in the NHL than Ho Sang has? If we are trading Ho Sang AND a first it better damn well be for something better than Dano.

Marner may want 5x$13m, but he'd only get that from TOR. A team giving up four 1st round picks is going to want more security. The short term options would be 4 or 5 years at $10.5 million (which TOR would probably match) or a 1 or 2 year deal for like $13 million. So if a team is serious about actually getting Marner, I think it's got to be around $13 million for either 1-2 or 7 years.

13 mil is a lot, but I'd be happy if we got Marner. We have a good supply of quality youth, so we may be able to begin the cheap infusion of, while paying a lot for our core.

Losing the draft picks hurts, but LL can scour the NCAA as well as obscure leagues, like the HAQPIHL (High Altitude Qatarian Professional Ice Hockey League)

I'm not nearly as funny as double chilli, but i'm trying ... :thumbu:

2) no, will probably go back to the KHL
3) had a terrible year last season, may want to prove himself
4) maybe
5) wasn’t he suspended for like 20 games for domestic abuse?
