Yeah it did it was barely the cheapest carbon (next cheapest was 90k) but hey, I got the coins either way

hut is absolutely broken. i agree when someone posted earlier that the reason ice and now ruby came out was to increase the speed/fun of the game. at the same time they broke the game.
you know the game is broken when i quick sell a 91 ice klingberg and other ice cards and team of the week cards. if you play your cards right (pun intended) from the competitive season you could get enough packs and quick sell them for 60-70,000 coins.
what they really should do next year is make different types of cards for the same players. they kinda did this with the all star cards at least the tavares i have who is a 90 overall but imo better then the 95 or whatever he is now or close to it speed/shot wise.
this way players have to go out and search for the best combo of player and synergy if they want.

Ice / Ruby did ruin it. First, card were so much then they were worth nothing.
NHL needs to follow Madden's footsteps. Make collections a thing outside the NHL. Do programs and have abilities be a thing. Do tournaments and game modes that promote the use of other cards and what not.
Sadly, they won't care. They care about Money and nothing else.

EA really messed up HUT this year. The legends became irrelevant once Ice cards came out, and even moreso when Ruby cards came out. The 90 flashbacks were fine until they wanted to drive up the price and started releasing 92-93s, when the second best and most popular master set player is a 95. One of the flashbacks, Sittler, is a higher overall than the master set Heatley..
You can tell EA didn't plan this HUT season at all.

Legend cards should be escalators. They start higher than anyone sans Crosby, Ovechkin, etc. As new cards get released; legends because higher overall with better synergies.
That way legends are 97-99 at this point. Also, their pull rate should be extremely low....
I have Steve Rucchin who is now useless. He's worth quicksell. That's it.

What they should be doing is go back a few years.
Drop the synergies, drop the shitty special cards.
Base gold, legends, totw, potg, ipotg, toty and movember is just fine. When having an gold 87 Logan Couture is actually good, when Charlie Coyle is a good option for the 4th line.
When having Alex Ovechkin in your team was kinda unique.
Now everyone got their fancy ass mainstream teams, takes the fun out of it.
Some players are close to 99 now, and toty isnt even here, nor the playoffs or the nhl awards.
Complete BS by EA.

they really need to bring the game back to the salary cap like in the first two years. there was actual skill involved in finding a seguin or hall in the juniors cause they had cheap contracts and then juicing them up with boosts and loading them with a 80+ contract to keep the cap hit low. man those were the freaking days!
another thing they really absolutely have to do is stop letting people put players anywhere on the lineup. its beyond annoying seeing forwards playing defense outside the powerplay and that isn't how the game should be played.
one thing they can look into doing is ditching synergy and having players have their own abilities. power play specialist pk specialist end of the game specialist overtime specialist etc. you have teams right now throwing out marner/brazal and whoever in the final mins of a game protecting a lead. those guys would never be out on the ice in an nhl game at that time. so if your using them in hut? then the cards actually decrease in value if you use them outside of their designated specialist ability. makes teams have a good 3rd line defensive line out there at the end of the game.
another thing that would help is they have to limit how many upgrades a card can get in a given time. you can't have someone get a team of the week and then a week later hes getting a player of the game or a highlight card or something. there have been times where my marchand would get a boost twice in a two week span? come on!

You can be upset about it all you want, having the more higher overalls in the games is what sells packs, as someone who has played HUT when it was the old way and now, I know I would barely play the game before I got ****** off having a crap team and playing, getting to the point where my team couldn’t compete with players that paid for teams. Now the higher overall and more chance of getting them keeps me intrigued long enough to keep playing, haven’t put any money into the game and just from playing competitive seasons and placing high my team is elite. The way it should be not buying your team good.
With that said they need to add competive seasons where you have to use certain players and levels, they did this a few years ago need to have 4 silver players, or 4 bronze players, or gold common. Gets rid of synergies.
The issues are in the gameplay, goaltending is hit and miss, I believe on purpose, and the AI differences I find in competive seasons vs ranked play, not the player overalls.
The only people who are upset are those who can’t dominate everyone anymore because they spent hundreds on a team.

the main problem is the amount of cards they release and the frequency of the upgrades. these new legends are practically useless and wouldn't even start on my roster. i'm completed the last season and got i believe 8 packs! quick sold most of the junk for i think 20,000 the lone good card was the newest giroux team of the week. hes going to replace my free st.louis xmas card. its middle of feb and i'm already bumping players off my roster with 92 base.
they will never do it but if they could separate the gameplay from those that pay and those that don't that would solve every complaint.

question is there anyway to mass quick sell your cards? i have 600 of them and its very tedious doing it one at a time

I think the only way to mass quick sell cards is to put them on the market and wait for them not to sell and they go into your item inbox.

The new legends are just a big troll job by EA. They know that 3 synergy 92 overall cards that can't grow are useless right now. It's basically a "here, we'll let you use Bobby Hull finally, but he sucks!" troll job.
