Marner and Nylander are pretty similar prospects, don't ya think?

Similar size, skating, RH, position played, both have great puckhandling, shooting and passing, etc. Marner has a bit more polish imho, but very similar overall skillsets.

Imho it would be great for some internal competition for the centre job, eventually they'd be duking it out for that #1 centre slot, same could be said of Strome and Barzal as well.

Do you guys see Zacha as a winger or centre at the NHL level? He doesn't seem like enough of playmaker imho to be a centre, but I have not watched enough of him to have a strong sentiment on that.

I'll be in Guelph tomorrow for the Erie game.

Other than McDavid and Strome, which Players should I keep an eye on?

The difference between the 2 would be intensity going forward, Marner is pretty aggressive. Zacha projects as a centre because of his awareness, positioning and skating.

2 98 rookies in Givani Smith and Matt Hotchkiss for Guelph, probBly won't get too much ice. I think draft eligible Garret McFadden is hurt. Taylor raddysh is Eries 98 rookie, Travis Dermott is draft eligible this year and Debrincat is next year.

Some CHL people say that Pavel Zacha may end up playing the wing at the pro level.

I saw a style comparison to Zemgus Girgensons.

Sure about that? I saw him listed at 6' 4.75"

It's listed at 6'5" on the Tri-City site, but on the broadcast they've said that he's 6'7. I've almost heard a couple times them say that about him.

Timo Meier is pretty interesting. Big kid, uses the body well to protect the puck. Looks like he has a ton of skill.

Also, I'm still a huge fan of Crouse. Strong 2 way game that everyone talks about and he just looks like an NHL player now.
