Looks like Soderstrom is struggling this year numbers are WAY down. Sorokin still dominating the K. We have to find a way to buy out his contract. We desperately need a legit goaltender.

My mind is lying to me..every time I see MDC in the list, I always think his PIMs are his points and I am, for a very short period, mildly impressed...then I notice...shit...he's only at 10 points!

I'm really hoping Golyshev is the real deal..it looks realistic that he could get another 25 goal season.

I think this coming draft we better stock our cupboards with centres and wingers..looks like we are a bit weak in that area. Outside of Bellows and Golyshev, the rest of the pack looks meh.

Does anyone have any feedback on the NCAA guys? I always have a problem evaluating their real skill because sometimes players play well and suck at the NHL level and sometimes they aren't that great at the NCAA level and do ok to great at the NHL level.

Durandeau seems to have taken a bit of a slide..still a lot of points, but production seems to have nose-dived the past 5 or so games.

It looks like most of our NCAA guys are playing limited minutes, outside of Mirageas (who just needs time, he is a solid prospect on a great program). Adams and Cockerill showed flashes in the USHL (especially Adams) and some scouts seem to have liked both (Pronmon has written a couple of times about Cockerill) but need to show more, those teams are not as stacked as they were in years past. All three might require extended looks at the ECHL/AHL level.

Song, Hansson and Schempp are looking like nothing prospects. I think McAdam still has some upside, as a backup.

Arnaud Durandeau with a beauty last night in Sydney

Up and down year for him so far, he's improved a lot since comming back from Isles camp but, lacks consistency still. Streaky goalscorer.

Well, Durandeau seems to have NHL level speed and hands...Better than I thought of him.

Durandeau seems like a Shane Prince type player to me.

Lanky, left handed shot with some good straight line speed and a decent shot, but not much else.

For a 6th (?) rounder, I'll take it.

A lot of scouts didn’t expect him to be drafted. Let’s hope our Q scout/scouts know what they’re doing.

What's going on with Burroughs? His offensive game doesn't look as good this year....also..I thought Schempp (is he defensive D?) was gonna be ok...his numbers don't look that great either.

Pelech and Mayfield are both on pace for about 30 points each for the year...That's not bad at all.

Maybe it's just me, but our cupboard doesn't look that great outside of a few Defensemen and a goalie. We really need to keep our picks this year. It's a solid draft so we could end up with another Barzal + Boesser!..ok, wishful thinking, but we need to restock so we can keep winning in the future. In this case, i would rather have too much than too little.

I think Toews, Aho and Vande Sompel are hogging all the offensive PP opportunities this year. Also Kyle Schempp is a center(and he never has put up big numbers anywhere so he will have to make it as an intangibles/defensive guy).

Weird...I don't know why I thought Schempp was a D...I guess we have so many D in the system, I just assumed haha
