With Somerby, Bischoff, and Cammarata all done with college hockey are any going to be signed and sent to the Tigers?

Bellows loses his boy, Keller signs his ELC with ARZ. Even though they play different positions this should bump Bellows up a bit next year. I wish Keller would have played another year though. He's a great distributor and has crazy chemistry wound Bellows. They were separated this year but I had the feeling next year would have been reunited.

I wouldn't sign Cammarata. Bischoff I would most def try and sign and Sombery as well. Bischoff would be my priority though

There's rumors that Bellows may leave and go to the WHL. Might not be a bad idea. Worked for Adam Tambellini.

I wouldn't mind that. More of a pro style and a lot more games. He's property of the Winterhawks. Could be justice for us. There was a former goal scoring LW with size for the winterhawks that was supposed to help us.

I couldn't find the rumors. Where did you see it?

Read it in an article about Isle's prospects. I'll try to find the link.

Bellows was also going to BU during a historic freshman class that might see you buried, and such a thing happened. Probably a really bad decision on his part. You don't see freshman classes get to the Frozen Four. You can crush me by beating my alma mater after an offsides review, but going to a powerhouse always has its drawbacks. I wonder how much he regrets not just going to the U.

Somerby and Bischoff will get contracts. Cammarata will be seen with a $30k ECHL/CHL contract somewhere in the deep south.

Seattle is up 2-0 in the first round series against Tri-City (Parker Wotherspoon's team).

I'm gonna tip on Bischoff and Somerby being signed.

As for Somerby, I don't think I've ever seen a guy be the captain of his team in his senior year and seriously have his worst ever scoring totals. And he didn't have much to begin with.

I'd be surprised if they didn't add Bischoff though, who had a very solid senior season and grew in his role.

Good news. To be honest, not too convinced that Somerby will be signed.

FWIW I would offer Cammarata an AHL deal. Maybe he can prove himself there. He was a 3rd rounder so they should invest a little in him.

I think Stevens just got the only deal they'd be giving to any NCAA forwards this spring.

If there's an AHL deal for Cammarata, it can really only be offered by Bridgeport and then it'll have to be a two-way. Amazing that a kid has his best season as a freshman and a total of 54 points his first two seasons compared to 39 his final two seasons.

Just wow!

Again, I guess the NYI had no-one in attendance for the 2014 U18, because Buchnevich was even better than Nischuchkin and clearly one of the top 3 players in the tourney. One in which McDavid was the top player and both Eichel & Nylander were in attendance and producing.

But hey, what are tourneys like that worth when you can watch the Waterloo Black Hawks all season long?

PS) FWIW, Corey Trivino just put up 10-11-21 32 PMs and -3 in 61 KHL games for Barys Astana.

I don't think Mike Vecchione has received a deal from anyone yet. Do you think he is a offensive forward Snow/The Islanders should be looking at?

I mentioned him a few times over this year as a guy I'd like the isles to go after. He's had an incredible season as unions captain. I think he could become a RW prospect for us. Something we lack.

I read somewhere that the flyers might be front runners.

I don't know who Vecchione is, but given the track record, the Isles usually don't sign more than one NCAA free agents during a season. Obviously I could be completely wrong, but that's just what I've noticed over the past few years.

He's from Massachusetts. OF COURSE Snow is looking at him.:sarcasm:

Lots of college signings the past week, so the fact that he hasn't signed yet has me thinking that his agent is looking for an untypically good deal. Maybe even for 1st rounder money?

Dunno, but it's hard to imagine that he'll not be signed by someone soon.

Word is that CJ Smith (51 pts for UMass Lowell this season) may forego his senior year and sign very soon. Wonder if he'd be a guy the NYI would look at?

God I hate the NCAA speculation and looking at the draft -- I thought we were past this phase after last year's series win.
