This was the game they "weren't supposed" to win. It was the second game on a back-to-back. Regroup for Detroit.

We were in it for a lot of the game. Against the best team in the NHL. Nothing to be upset about tonight. We’ve still got work to do, and I think we all know that.

Nashville is a good team, not sure we can be too terribly upset losing this game but the PP needed to be better. Mack was shaky on it

We fought better than I expected. No offensive production from the bottom 3 lines hurts.
