Crazy to think it's been exactly 7 years.
Finally you admit it!Yes becuase you need a 7-1 win in a knock out stage to be worthy champions. They were the best team in every match they played making them the best team and the most deserving team. Stick to being an apologist for all things racist.
By comparison Germany drew to ghana squeezed out a win against the losers USA and needed extra time against Algeria.
You would be correct they didn't concede a goal in about 450 minutes. Until some random German scrub became the luckiest person on the planet.Didn't Argentina keep clean sheets the entirety of the knock-out stages? from what I remember they were incredibly hard to break down.

In the northeast and certain parts of the midwest they do. But I gotta say that a lot of things related to hockey have massively turned me off the sport. I would rather not get into detail about some of them but the lack of rule enforcement alone is bad enough. And then you have goalies who look like the Michelin man. No thanks. I can think of no faster way to sabotage a sport.
Lol yes because anyone said differently. They also had a really hard time scoring. Until that guy Messi showed up and hit that free kick in the 120th minute against Germany, oh wait that never happened, it hit row ZZ in the stands.
In retrospect, it's crazy how one goal can change the world's view on a player. That lucky player became touted as one of the next superstars based solely on that goalYou would be correct they didn't concede a goal in about 450 minutes. Gotze was class in his day, his health issues did him in, like so many others. In retrospect, it's crazy how one goal can change the world's view on a player. That lucky player became touted as one of the next superstars based solely on that goal
More like his lazinessGotze was class in his day, his health issues did him in, like so many others.
I can't believe this fake narrative still exists 4 years after his metabolism issues have been revealed.More like his laziness
It’s very possible to say that 1) people shouldn’t break into the stadium, 2) if they do, random fans shouldn’t assault them and that 3) both 1 and 2 are instances of shitty English behavior and an inability for English authorities to handle large profile events.Looks like you're a yob breaking into the stadium until you get punched in the face..then you're a helpless victim. Funny how selective representation of facts can be used to create a spin.
This is the first I’ve heard of it. If it’s true then I’ll be happy to concedeI can't believe this fake narrative still exists 4 years after his metabolism issues have been revealed.
Oh for sure, he has talent and did have bad luck with health. That being said, I still think the guy was never going to be a top 10 player in this position, and he got overrated due to his "Super Mario" moment.Gotze was class in his day, his health issues did him in, like so many others.
Beyond his health, the biggest problem was that he was miscast because Bayern didn't want to get into the Neymar bidding; when he was always a lot more Iniesta (stylistically) than Messi.Oh for sure, he has talent and did have bad luck with health. That being said, I still think the guy was never going to be a top 10 player in this position, and he got overrated due to his "Super Mario" moment.

Oh, the hype was there before the WC, but that goal propelled Gotze's expectations and put home on the radar of more people around the footballing world.... I don't think that is too farfetched to say.I was one of the biggest Gotze haters around but get your facts straight. The Gotze hype maxed out when he helped Dortmund win a league title as an 18 year old and looked fantastic doing that. That was years before that goal. At the time of the goal he had already been controversially snatched by Bayern, and there was already skepticism about his ability to settle at Bayern.
