Can't get the hands on a slash, they've been big about calling those all season, if he got stick or leg on that he'd probably be fine.

Yea but I still believe a team that can consistenly make long playoff runs will make more than a team with an aging, marketable player (in the long run).

There is 0 evidence that an Ovechkin led team will ever consistently make deep playoff runs.

The problem is that Ovechkin isn't a leader - he's a goal scorer, and one of the best ever.
Leadership needs to come from somewhere else. I still can't understand why they made him captain.

Foligno's pretty luck he didn't get anything for hitting Beagle from behind on that scrum, in the regular season that's a roughing call just about every time. Can't come in and hit a guy from behind that hard when he's already engaged with a guy.

CBJ's announcers: "Thats just foligno sending a message... you're not gonna stand around our goalie... "

rofl... guess it's time for the caps to start cracking skulls the next time the CBJ's run Holtby.

Both of these teams are playing terrible hockey. No sense of urgency, and no one willing to battle for loose pucks in front of the net on offense.

If Tom Wilson had done what Foligno or Jenner had done in that last scrum, he'd be sitting, guaranteed.

Had Wilson done that, he'd be sitting in the sin-bin for 2 minutes.

The Caps clearly have seized the momentum in the series. If they win today, I don't see the Jackets winning it.
