At some point they are going to have to move one of Marner or Nylander for some defensive help. JVR and Bozak likely both gone too.

Leafs are fine up front and should use the money on the back end. Dermott is real young and guys like Kapanen and Johnsson are on entry level cheap deals and deserve full time roles already. Guy like Grundstrom is ready as well

They need a top pairing defenseman and they also need to fix their system and model it more after Pittsburgh's last year. Pittsburgh didn't have a single top pairing guy last year but their systematic team defense was so much better than Toronto's. They just look horrible. It's hilarious that people called this team a Cup contender; their opponent is missing their #1C and they are getting their asses kicked in their own building.
