Final games of the season, They're clearly their team's best players and I assume there's no real chance of moving up in the standings.
Yeah, the
QMJHL playoff bracket has been set in stone for a while now. Comtois' Victoriaville will take on Gatineau in the first round -- the Olympiques sold heavily this season, so
on paper that
should be a very quick series. Morand's AB Titan will face Chicoutimi, a team that also sold, but not as heavily as Gatineau. The Sagueneens still have
quality roster players, including a good bunch of 2018/2019 NHL draft eligibles, so I would expect that series to be tougher.
In the WHL,
5 out of 8 playoff series are now set. Like I posted previously, Regina will face Swift Current in a battle of two WHL juggernauts. Soy's Victoria will also play against a formidable opponent in the Vancouver Giants -- both teams did some selling, so the series should be quite evenly matched. Going into the series, one of the main goals for Victoria is to figure out, how they'll keep 60-goal scorer
Ty Ronning off the score board...
In the OHL, things are still quite wide open.
The OHL bracket hasn't yet been updated, but there are two series in
the playoff schedule. One of them is Kingston (Jones) facing the
NB Battallion. Kingston's roster is absolutely stacked, thanks to all the additions they made at the TDL, so this series
should also be over quickly. Jones has been hurt since January 21th, no idea what his current condition is, or when he'll be able to return to the lineup.
