I was just talking about this thread on the Ozzy Wiesblatt thread! It's cool to hear about names way way before they are discussed in the hockey world. Hopefully this thread gets stickied or something.

Cole Eiserman has been talked about in MA for a few years now completely dominating. Most in the region have said he’s the best prospect since Eichel. He’s now at Shattuck on the u14 team dominating there as well. 28G 13A 41 pts in 14 games.

There are two superstars at this age in Russia: Ivan Miroshnichenko and Matvey Michkov. They play mostly for an older 2003 y.b. generation. Both of them are on that "new malkinovechkin" level at the moment, just like Yakupov, Grigorenko or Svechnikov jr. were.
You may compare Dolbilkin's stats Dolbilkin Ivan Статистика
to Miroshnichenko's
Miroshnichenko Ivan Статистика

Wow, good insight! Michkov looks to be contending for no.1 overall in 2023.

Global Development: Prospect To Watch Tai Ushio

Tai Ushio

I do not think this kid is 1st Overall, but he did lead a U18 Canadian AAA team in the CSSHL in scoring in their brief season. 12 points in 7 games played. Also since he is a December-born 05 and their last game played was in November, he scored all his points as a 14-year-old. I thought it was more interesting because he is a Japanese native with the potential to at least reach the next level from where he is at now. I don't know if he will be drafted, but it would be super neat if a Japanese player was drafted haha

Juraj Slafkovsky , 2022 eligible. As a 13 years old boy he has 14 points in 18 SVK U18 league games. Looks to be good prospect.

There are talks in Slovakia about 2004 and 2005 class. Curious, if we will see some breaking star in the next 2 years.
Good call. Gonna have two top 5 picks in this years draft.

Sykora looks good too and could slide into the first round this year. Looks like they have a few potential first and second rounders next season too led by Dvorsky who could be a top 10 pick.
Slovakia could have some really good NHL players soon.

Any new Child Prodigy on the radar? 13 years old maximum.

I dont have any deep reports from Slovakia. Only statistics. Forward Michal Lazovsky had insane numbers in SVK U15 lower league: 20 games , 48 goals + 20 assists.

But hard to say, how he look on the ice. As i said, it only because statistics.

update: Ocean and Orca Wiseblatt were banned from making triple aaa because they stole phones and bad mouthed the players and coaches. I hear they tearing up there div. what a shame.......
This is kinda satisfying to look back on. Especially considering neither of these two did anything and their brother ended up going in the first round.

Easily the best 2009 birth year kid I have seen is a kid named Landon Dupont from Alberta. You heard it here first!

A few child prodigy videos on Youtube:

Roman Marcotte

Kaden Galatiuk

Gregory Mast

Washiiyeh Jeannotte

Roman Marcotte is not a top 100 kid. Not even close.

There was a kid from Brantford who was pretty special at 9 who also played some baseball. I wonder what became of him.
Probably nothing. His game wouldn't have translated well to the NHL. He was too small. I didn't bother following him after his 300 goal year. Someone should check.

Never seen Marcotte play, but there is a few newer videos out there of him and he looks like a good player. Why are you saying he is not a top 100 player?

He has good skill but is really tiny amd not very fast. My kid plays against the top teams and so ive been watching this age group closely for a long time. He really isnt close to the top kids. I have not seen him in a few years so maybe he grew a foot but I am guessing that is unlikely.
