yes and that can be rectified and is a result of playing on the hawks and for a coach that is a complete moron and idiot with a system that sucks and players dont get. In addition that coach does not have players ready to play the game when the puck drops

most likely will be bad for duration of contract but they also have to get to cap floor so why not keep a kid that works his ass off every game, him and cat need to be part of the next wave because they can set the tone for how the next good hawks team can play, need some people around to build a culture, he's one of the few that deserves to stay around long term
