It's crazy that the Panthers only have $13M locked up in 15/16, and no one signed beyond that. But their rebuild will still hinge on their prospects/young players, they're not attractive enough in free agency to build that way. Maybe they can make some trades.

depends how much they'll overpay. I think free agency is going to get crazy. Right now twenty teams are projected to have at least $20m in cap space this summer to fill their roster spots. I think we're going to see some crazy deals signed, and some potential UFA kicking themselves a bit for not testing the market.

I saw a clip a year ago or something where a guy handles the puck in the offensive zone (on the PP I think), flicks a stick back to the defenseman and then goes back to make a play.
