Kerfoot maybe played 2 years with Vesey. Or at least neither did a whole lot in Kerfoot's rookie year.
Hey if you want to try to explain why Kerfoot is a significantly better assist man in his Jr and Sr seasons then Sexton was, then go ahead, but the fact is, in his upperclassmen seasons, Kerfoot is a significantly better assist man then Sexton was.
I don't know how many ways to say it...The difference in assist isn't as big as the difference in talent each played with.
Junior and Senior
Kerfoot had 48 assist in 50 games
Sexton had 37 assist in 63 games
Now Sexton Junior year- Here are the top point producers - Sexton is the only drafted player here.
Allan McPherson 25
Jarrett Burton 20
Ben Sexton 20 Drafted player
Joe Zarbo 17
Patrick Megannety17
Will Frederick 16
Kerfoot Junior year top point producers
Jimmy Vesey 46 Drafted player
Alexander Kerfoot 34 Darfted player
Kyle Criscuolo 32
Ryan Donato 21 Darafted player
Luke Esposito 21
Sean Malone 19
Tyler Moy 19 Drafted player
Colin Blackwell 19 Drafted Player
Clay Anderson 15
I don't feel like doing this for their Senior year - -Too much typing but it's more of the same...
Vessey produced more points in Kerfoot's junior year than Clarkson's top 2 scorers produced combined! Harvard's top scorers had 5 NHL drafted players in the lineup Kerfoots Junior year. This year 5 of the top 5 Harvard players are drafted so there is probably just as much talent on Harvard this year than last.
Do you really think the difference in 11 assist over 2 years has nothing to with with talent he's played with?
