I understand why Sjöholm and Bysted was cut, they where not good. Clearly they are not ready yet. But why was Lindberg cut? He was our best player in both games and he was also our most physical player.

Interesting with Folin...he was horrible under Garpenlöv. But maybe he can be better with his old coach Hallam.

Looking at the first round in Stanley Cup:

Colorado vs Seattle: Landeskog and Burakovsky is injured. Wennberg, Larsson would be good adds and both have contract.

Dallas vs Wild: Nils Lundkvist, Brodin and Eriksson Ek all have contract and would be good adds.

Boston vs Florida: Both Forsling and H.Lindholm would be massive adds, both have contract.

Carolina vs Islanders: None really.

Vegas vs Jets: William Karlsson would be a nice add and he has contract.

Oilers vs Kings: Ekholm, Arvidsson and Kempe would be good adds. All 3 have contracts.

Devils vs Rangers: Bratt dont have contract. Zibanejad has contract and would be a huge add ofcourse.

Tampa vs Leafs: Hedman, Nylander and Järnkrok would all 3 be good adds and all 3 have contracts.

Marky is pretty much hated by his own Calgary fans and perhaps reasonably so.

Would be interesting to see him as the SWE #1.
As a Winland fan I'd love it - if Calgary fans are correct, he is a sieve ;)

I’ve actually seen his time in Calgary as fairly successfull, apart from this season.

Apparently Rasmus Andersson has a nagging back injury. He’s most likely out.

That's only 66.6% though.

Dahlin's playing the last few games for Buffalo while they're shutting down any player with a minor injury, safe to say he's available lest anything happens tonight.

Yes, I am also a bit suprised by Lindberg not being part of the squad. Maybe there was an injury or something. I thought he was one of the better forwards against Denmark.

Makes zero sense. There is no best on best tournament anymore and we have a new good coach. Players should be hungry to play.

Im worried Hallam will go with the likes of Silfverberg, Oscar Lindblom etc as our top guys. Our players in Europe is better than them. Would much rather see a team like this than a bunch of overated 4th line NHLers.

Jonathan Dahlen - Anton Lander - Patrik Karlkvist
Oscar Möller - Pär Lindholm - Andre Petersson
Leo Carlsson - Lucas Wallmark - Marcus Sörensen
Rickard Hugg - Oscar Lindberg (hope he comes back) - Oskar Lang

Theodor Lennström - Lukas Bengtsson
Henrik Tömmernäs - Jonathan Pudas
Andreas Borgman - Joel Persson

Lars Johansson
Marcus Högberg
Linus Söderström

If our big adds will be middeling NHLers like Silfverberg and Lindblom, I don't like our chances. We need big names like Elias & Elias (Pettersson & Lindholm) to accept.

Borderline NHLers are marginal at best upgrades over Euro players. Remember the year when Marcus Sörensen was one of the NHL additions?
