Calgary's out. So: E.Lindholm, Backlund, R.Andersson, & Markström available. Would've been fun to see Kylington play but alas, not happening this year.

Some of your guys have already "accepted" the invitation. Dahlin, Karlsson etc. Just make some rosterprojection with those guys included. And add Lucas Raymond . He will come.
I never count NHLers in until they're actually on the roster. It has happened many times that players have said to tje media that they want to go and they didn't show up. They can get injured in the last games, not be released by their teams etc. Erik Karlsson was talking all last year on about how he loves to play for Tre Kronor and he'd like to go to the Worlds and then in the end declined the invite

Yeah but he was obviously not 100% last year.

Let’s hope so. But I’ve learned to never take things for granted. I think Karlsson as long as he doesn’t sustain an injury will come.

Dahlin suffered his injury more than a month ago, he played through it and has sat out a few games since. Looks like he's healthy again now.
he is not, i asked buffalo fans, they say he is still injured.

and the big question is, do we want a injured Dahlin? Look at how bad OEL was playing injured against Canada in the qf

Kylington is a very good player indeed.

Backlund must be the most underated swede in NHL. Nobody ever talks about him. 55 points this season

Olofsson has a good shoot and thats about it. We have better players than him in Europe. Also Asplund is free, but he had a bad season.

I hope Pens....Rakell and Marcus Pettersson would be nice additions. From Isles there is also Pierre Engvall.

Btw, Sweden vs Denmark today on SVTplay...19:25

I like the addition of Bystedt. Will watch just because of that.

Marcus Pettersson has been out injured for nearly a month, and Engvall + Asplund have no contracts so didn't include them.

Well, no way Islanders misses the playoffs.

A possible team, with injuries, contracts and players suspected to say no thanks in mind:

Rickard Rakell - Elias Lindholm - Emil Bemström
Jonathan Berggren - Mikael Backlund - Lucas Raymond
Jonathan Dahlen - Anton Lander - Marcus Sörensen
Oscar Möller - Pär Lindholm - Rickard Hugg

Patrik Nemeth - Erik Karlsson
Anton Lindholm - Rasmus Andersson
Andreas Borgman - Adam Boqvist

Jacob Markström
Marcus Högberg
Lars Johansson

This could be the team in Czech Hockey Games. Then we add more players from NHL when the first round is finished there.

Lol Nils Ekman just said he thinks Marcus Sylvegård is a lock for WC.
Its like they think its 2001 and Sweden gets worse 1-6 NHL-players.

I hope they’re not planning on letting this guy comment during the WHC he’s getting on my nerves.

Yeah, I think SVTs hockey production are terrible nowadays. Viasat are running laps around them quality wise

Has Viasat changed in the past days or so? Because if not then I disagree. I haven't seen Ekman on SVT before I think. Highly doubtful he, & Bäckman will cover (Sweden's games of) Worlds.

Härenstam, Lehmann, & Rooth are covering Women's Worlds right now so they were unavailable. Loob, & Renberg should be experts at Worlds, and Jonas Andersson idk where he's at currently but latest thing I heard from him is he wants Leo Carlsson to play in the main tournament.
