Can't believe Nichushkin has 7 goals in 7 games and is leading the Avs in points, with 2 less games played than their superstars...

I know he needed the change but damn I wish he had of succeeded here.

Man the Bruins management is really a bunch of idiots. Sign Miller without consulting with anyone which causes a massive uproar including on their own team which forces them to cut Miller again.

What was even the upside here ?

Lol not in the age where reporters literally scoure the league registry website every day for stuff like this and then instantly blast it out to everyone that follows them on various social media websites. In this day and age you can't sneakily sign somebody and nobody will notice.

This stuff is public information . It's how Capfriendly and sites like that can operate as well IRC . Don't think the league works with them directly.

Exactly. Which is why they look stupid. You would think they’d have a plan and be prepared for the backlash. It seems like they somehow didn’t expect it.

Plus all the "new" information they said they learned such as it wasnt an isolated event and he never really apologized on his own volition was public knowledge from like 2 years ago.

It seems like they didn’t even bother typing his name into Google.

Damn, Washington is getting the injury bug badly this year.

Backstrom, Brown, and Hagelin out all season. Wilson out until at least December. Carlson, Oshie, and Orlov all D2D. Missing almost half of their top 9 F and top 4 D.

Need to work the cap but I would love to see Tarasenko on the line with Seguin and marchment. Gurianov is not the answer.

The market for cap is unusual this year. Few buyers have any cap to spare, it's going to be hard for the sellers to get assets back for the cap they are taking.

Blues would have to eat some cap. That can be cut in half.
Why would they eat some cap on Tarasenko though? They'd have to get back a hell of a package to justify doing that, and we likely don't have the assets to make a package work to get that.

Really don't think St Louis has any designs on doing a division rival a huge favor.

At that point it wouldn't be worth it for the Stars.
At what point? Let's say we offer Gury, Dobby, and a 2024 1st for Tarasenko at 50%. That seems pretty worth it for us, and it's not a huge favor from the Blues unless they take it over a better offer. This is a lowball offer, I recognize.

Your conclusions are nice and all but it's your reasoning that's going to make them stick.
