So Greenway was a late addition but survived the cuts? Interesting for us Leaf fans. Does anyone have any comments on his play or on Woll? Thanks in advance.

Some general thoughts so far on the summer camp noting that I haven't seen all the games:
- Unsurprisingly, but it's pretty clear the coaches have the Mittelstadt - Brown - Yamamoto line penciled in already.
- Barring Clayton Keller's unexpected availability , it's still to be determined on who's going to step up and be the next wave of go-to guys up front for offense.
- My main focus for the last two games will mostly be on the forwards and who's ready to step up and stake their claim to a role on the team. Frederic and Norris are particular focal points as I don't think either has shown well thus far for two guys that should be in the running for the final roster.
- Quinn Hughes is playing himself into a big role on this team. He's been one of the most impressive guys at camp so far. He still over-handles the puck at times, but he's capable of having a very good tournament.
- I'm pleasantly surprised by the d-men group so far. Lindgren & Fox were the locks, and there's still a long way to go. Beyond Hughes, I've liked the steady play of Peeke and Martin, and Anderson and Samberg have shown flashes. There's also Krys as well who's been out with an injury. It would be nice if they can come out of this camp with a core group of 5 or so players to start. Greenway's the only d-man that looks clearly in over his head, especially today.
- First time seeing Max Gerlach and I've been pleasantly surprised. I can see him filling a role similar to Tanner Laczynski last year, albeit as a winger instead.

Has Brown really improved his play that much? everytime i watched early on this year he looked underwhelming
Poehling didn't play today. I was not able to see him other than highlights where he made a couple really nice plays... Any word on him.. I thought he'd be a good 2nd line C type. Tufte looked ok to me today as did Patrick Harper.

I didnt think Frederic was great yesterday but, in my mind, he's our 2C. I thought that based on his season w Wisconsin. He also threw a REALLY sweet pass to Gerlach in the first, and we all know he has the physical/defensive game to warrant a Top 6 spot. I think in the end, he's our Kunin.
Just watched the game for the first time paying attention (kids were unruly yesterday...lost the whole flow). My thoughts:
Like everyone else, I think Hughes was impressive. I'm scared to death of his decision-making but you cant keep his skill off the team.
I thought Kemp played really well. Badini too.
I thought Martin should've been in the team last year (but I learned to love Cecconi...he was great). He looked good again yesterday.

Bellows impressed me. I was so unimpressed by him last year. Great to see him play well.
Good summary William... I should add that regarding "Only three of the players (Brown, Fischer, Boeser) that played in the game ended up being left off the team, and Fischer wasn't released by Arizona and Boeser was injured. " Brown was just back from a lengthy injury as well. I don't think he had even played for Windsor again before the mini camp tryouts.
I agree Frederic played better today but Poehling outplayed him. I liked Poehling's game.
I thought the Brown line was off today.
The D and Goaltending are strong. One of the 99 Ds could sneak in there with a good start to their seasons.
Thoughts on Fox?
