Off topic but I just re-watched the 2016 semi vs Russia.
How did we lose that game?? In a 7 game series, we win at least 5.
I'm not sure if Lindgren is going to be able to play. He was supposed to skate this week at Boston's Dev Camp and was held out as he recovers from his broken leg.
I hope he's able to go for this Summer Showcase
Any new jerseys coming out for the tournament for Team USA? Besides the Bills jersey? If not I can just buy last year's model anytime.
I can't remember the last time they came out with a new jersey for this.
Team White and Team Blue rosters announced for the World Junior Summer Showcase.
USAH also announced Will Lockwood will be in attendance, but won't play due to injury.
David Farrance and JD Greenway have been added to the roster for the showcase. Farrance will skate for USA White starting today and Greenway for USA Blue starting tomorrow as he'll arrive tonight
Mikey Anderson has been solid in two and a half games so far. He alone has gotten probably 5 pucks to the net, also has great gap control intercepting passes in the neutral zone. Sean Day has had a good bounce back game thus far after turning the puck over to give Sweden the win yesterday. Sean Dhooge really showed how effective he his on the PK at the IIHF U-18's last year. He's picked that up again in the two games thus far, had two really good shifts on the PK, one of them picking off the puck and took off down the left side to get the puck towards the net. Obviously on offense he's good too.
