While that is true, if Yakupov does pan out, he shouldnt be considered a miss. That means he turned out to be a good player that they did a poor job in developing.

Development is the key, its also why I laugh when people suggest they had some great rebuild plan, no they drafted two guys that did not need to be developed much after almost 5 years of top picks and rushing them.

For those who like a little humor in their coffee we have this clip from the Chicago Wolves game last season where Vince Dunn (yup, the guy who scored his first NHL goal for the Blues last night) starting a line brawl with heavyweight enforcer/intimidator Kurtis Gabriel. That's really no big deal as the real action starts at 1:09 of the clip as both players decide to have words in the tunnel. Enjoy.
