Should they be giving Michael Joly a good look/opportunity at the AHL level? Dude just continues to rip it up.

I've haven't seen too many guys at the ECHL level that make it look as easy as he does. It's still early, but 18 goals in 19 games (5 goals in 3 games since he was sent down) is approaching ECHL Jesus territory. I would like to see what he could do with some minutes in the AHL.

Just wanted to mention also that his 18 goals have come on 43 shots. 42%

A high shooting % isn't the greatest thing to have but he sure can find the back of the net. They didn't give him much a look in his one AHL game, not surprising. Joly isn't much of a passer but he's good with those that can.

It's gunna be fun watching AJG's skills blow people's minds the way Compher has been...if we can get all of that offensive potential out of him. For a dude with his size & tenacity; I'm constantly impressed by how slick his hands, passing & shooting skills are.

He needs to get put in a role where he can showcase those skills and build that confidence. I'd love a line of Greer-Kerfoot/Jost-Compher in the future.

I was always partial to a Greer - Compher - Landy line if Jost ended up playing with MacK n Mikko. Though with the chemistry that top line has, that's probably no longer an option.

Meloche is caught in the numbers game due to the AHL depth provided by two organizations. He is by far the youngest D for the Rampage and it is the easier choice to scratch him rather than scratching a vet.

It is better for him to get playing time, although he is ready and should be playing in the AHL IMO.

This may be one of the more noticeable negatives to emerge from this season's sharing of an AHL affiliate.
