April Schedule Favors Binghamton Senators In Final Playoff Push

http://senshot.com/2014/03/31/april-schedule-benefits-b-sens-for-the-playoff-push/

I ran this on Monday, thought it would help some of the fans in the organization to give hope to their lost season in Ottawa and help jump boat to Bingo's playoff chances..

Good article.

I'm planning a trip down to bingo to catch a game Easter weekend. What do you think will be a better game, the 18th against Wilkes barre or the 19th against Norfolk?

I'm going to be honest, heading out to the bar post game is a big reason we want to go so which night is typically better to go out? Thanks in advance

I suggest rounding up tickets ASAP as both nights are going to draw big crowds as the 18th will be against the team we are fighting for the division title and will have Pens fans in attendance as well and the 19th is usually a sell out being the last game of the regular season and will feature player awards ceremony before puck drop.

As far as a better game? Friday. Definitely. Game against one of your hated rivals are always fun.

There are several hotels within walking distance from the Arena and lots of bars downtown. If you get here early there is plenty of things to do along the Vestal Parkway minutes from downtown.

Dillinger's and Water Street Brewing are my two haunts.

Will be very interested to see how Dzingel looks in the AHL, both this year but in particular next year.

Gaudy stats in junior or college aren't that meaningful... until you are scoring nearly ppg in the A, you aren't a real NHL prospect.

As with all Sens prospect, I'm really hoping he is the real deal.

Eeesh. That's not a very good lineup, especially down the middle. I'm expecting a loss.

Great move to keep Pageau up.

-Season is over for Ottawa. Brutal Season all around. Keeping Pageau up is selfish as Bsens have been decimated down the stretch.

-Really a motivator for our higher end BSens guys like Schneider, Prince and Puemple to work hard. Guess high picks need to be in the AHL 2+ years before you get to play even a single NHL game. No wonder PRincey wants a trade. Wouldn't be surprised to hear more things like this.

-Guess Pageau's contract is probably cheap and having him in Ottawa will sell more seats for Melnye (hometown boy)

And we are getting the cup next year, right?

As long as the B Sens can maintain a playoff spot, it is arguably one of the best moves to make. Pageau can get up to 7 games playing against NHL players which will allow him to further develop his game and set him up well for what he needs to work on in the off season. Then after the final 6 remaining games, the B Sens will receive potentially all of Pageau, Stone, Ceci, Hoffman and Zibanejad. So going into a playoff run you could potentially be receiving 4 legitimate NHL players and a player who isn't that far off from being one. Due to the fact that they have recently been playing against much superior competition, that may in turn allow them to dominate the play once they get sent down.

What are you going on about? It's extremely important for guys like Hoffman, Pageau and Stone to get experience in the NHL to build on for next season.

Bingo is comfortably in a playoff spot and will be getting plenty of reinforcements shortly. This is a good opportunity to develop guys who've been somewhat buried on a stacked team like Robinson and a good chance for Dzingel to get his feet wet.

No idea ☺☻☺

What's up with JOB? Is he injured? They could have used him today. The C depth chart is pretty thin right now.

"Says No":

No idea last week we were told he would be back this weekend. Earlier this week read were he is not even practicing........

Your guess is as good as mine~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Da Costa was joking about his nose being as big as O'Brien's now. Maybe JOB does have broken nose or something.
