I guess he wanted to make sure his streak of non-playoff performances finally comes to an end. Not that I expect him to play once Tampa's injured D-men get back to full health.

Is there any chance they play before 3 tomorrow and after getting a look at him they put him back on the market?

For their sake?

No one in a million years would have convinced me that Bogosian was an asset any team questing for the Cup would look at.

This must mean that Sheary and Vesey and Mojo and Erod have some value to someone out there........

Is this through all of next year? How does the pro ration work?
not pro-rated. Since it's the total of what they are paying him, that's the cap hit. As opposed to paying the remainder of the contact, they take on the whole contract. Thus doing it this way as opposed to waiver claim

For the exact amount he lost, I just keeping getting more reasons to dislike Tampa.

Still believe he could have got something for him
Not at a 5M cap hit.

If as a UFA, able to get any offer available, he signed at 1.3 there's no way a team would have given assets to pay him 2.5.

How is Buff termination only costing him 600k? He’s earning 6 mil this season. Number should be double that.
He's didn't earn $6M. It was more like $4.3M. He stopped getting paid the day he was suspended. They probably sent a payment they shouldn't have.

So Buffalo termination costing him 1,7 million, not 600k.

Maybe another team interested in him with cap space and a need for a dman would take him at 50% for a 7th.
