All u wings fans are sleeping on Albin Grewe.
He's struggled to put up points in the SHL, came over and struggled to put up points in the AHL (while also displaying none of his trademark physicality) and is now going back overseas to play in Finland. Not quite sure how we're supposed to be high on him. Hopefully he has a good season and starts to actually show some of the promise that got him drafted as high as he was.

In only very rough order

Poulin
POJ
Legare
Hallander
Clang
Lindberg
Blomqvist
Puustinen
O'Connor
Broz

Not counting Zohorna as he's pretty old.

It's not an outstanding list but, for the first time in forever, that feels like 10 players with a reasonable chance of being an NHL player better than just a guy.

I would probably go something like that for the habs (I'll be honest, I didn't really follow 2021 draft, so take this with a grain of salt):

1. Kaiden Guhle
2. Mattias Norlinder
3. Cayden Primeau
4. Jordan Harris
5. Ryan Poehling
6. Jan Mysak
7. Jayden Struble
8. Jesse Ylonen
9. Luke Tuch
10. Sean Farrell

If you're excluding the 2021 draft because you didn't follow it, that's fair, however Mailloux is in there

Poehling isn't eligible for the Calder anymore and in my books, that excludes him.

So, your list minus Poehling, add Mailloux.

There isn't a team in the league that has that many options on the blueline, nor that many quality options.

I think Detroit is just as good or better. I would take Seider and Edvinsson over anyone the kings have, plus the wings have a lot of depth guys like Johansson, McIsaac, Sebrango etc that match up well with the Kings depth on the blueline

full

Here's how I see our top ten, including projected ceiling (not necessarily where they'll land):
  1. RD 1D Moritz Seider
  2. LW 1W Lucas Raymond
  3. LD 1D Simon Edvinsson
  4. GT 1G Sebastian Cossa
  5. LD 2D Albert Johansson
  6. LC 2C Joseph Veleno
  7. RW 2W Jonatan Berggren
  8. LD 2D William Wallinder
  9. LD 2D Shai Buium
  10. LC 3C Theodor Niederbach
HM: LD Jared McIsaac, who is hard to project due to time lost to injury.

Your projections are extremely generous lol. I guess they could all become that but its not even remotely realistic at all to the point its not worth listing the 9th best prospect as a number 2 dman. I would have Berggren up a couple spots but thats a really solid list.

Need to land Wright/Lambert/Savoie next season and theyre scary going forward

That’s second pairing not number two defenseman. I realize that’s a little unclear in my post. I don’t see Buium that high personally, but Yzerman said they see him as a top four guy, so I rolled with it. Like I said, I’ll be happy if even half these guys hit somewhere in the ranges spelled out. Ceiling projections not expectations.

Oilers. I’m counting McLeod as graduated even though he hasn’t played many NHL games, he appears locked in to our roster full time now. Marody not counted as well as he’s older.

1. Holloway (C/W)
2. Bouchard (D)
3. Broberg (D)

what size gap do you have on these guys? seems like if you ask a bunch of oilers fans, you might
get totally different orders on 1-2-3.

Chicago Blackhawks list: Too sad to mention
Must be a LEAF Fan get educated . Blackhawks have the deepest D prospects in the league
With the recent draft Mark Kelley and staff rounded out what imo was the deepest young D in the league and added some missing elements of mean, good skating ,size and ,nasty !!
1.Wyatt Kaiser LD A great skating hybrid of Keith/Hjalmarsson
2.Nolan Allan LD Agile skater good size salt of the earth teamate
3.Nic Beaudin LD Sees the Ice extremely well ,good skater, doesn't panic with puck on his stick
4. Ian Mitchell RD He looks to be real solid, pretty good at everything
5. Wyatt Kalynuk LD good skater,Seems like he'll slide in as a middle pairing and dependable
6. Issak Phillips LD A real suprise, could really turnout good, Very speedy good size.
7. Alex Vlasic LD If he continues to grow and Improve like he has a great shutdown/last minute defender possibilties ,huge wingspan.
8. Ethan Del Mastro LD Big smooth skating defenceman ,offence still a question mark but at lower levels he provided punch, plays nasty as well.
9. Alec Regula RD Got a callup this past year, good hands ,skating need some work, father was Redwings dentist.
10. Michael Krutil RD Big Czech played as an 18 yr old in AHL during COVIID Has a bit of everything in his game ,has a bit of a mean streak at times.
11. Stanislav Demin LD switched schools this year, played with Ian Mitchell in Denver ,good skater more of a defensive DMan. Still has to be signed.
12Riley Stillman LD plays with an edge ,still needs to roundout his game.
13. Connor Kelley RD D partner of Kaiser in College good skater offensive upside could come .
14.Cole Moberg RD Big western Canadian kid has some tools in his toolbox, needs work.
15. Taige Harding LD Scottish Caber tosser has Jr year remaining then College ,GIANT.
16. Louis Crevier RD project to work with longterm possibilty. GIANT.
17.Jacob Galvas LD recently signed Czech slight frame smooth skating .

For the Wild, should be pretty similar to the other posts in this thread, with my expectation of where they will play in the NHL if/when they get there:

1. Marco Rossi (Top-6 C)
2. Matt Boldy (Top-6 LW)
3. Jesper Wallstedt (1G)
4. Carson Lambos (Top-4 D)
5. Calen Addison (Bottom-4 D)
6. Ryan O'Rourke (Top-4 D)
7. Marat Khusnutdinov (Middle-6 C)
8. Damian Hunt (3rd pair D)
9. Jack Peart (Bottom-4 D)
10. Vlad Firstov (Middle-6 LW)

Just missing the cut would probably be Alex Khovanov (Bottom-6 C), Nikita Nesterenko (Bottom-6 W), and Hunter Jones (2G)

So 1D just means first pair then?

If you're just denoting pairings then I think the more standard way to do it is

I think most would put Broberg third at this point, it's more Holloway v Bouchard where there is a contest. Of course, it's all subject to change.

I hate that I might as well have to skyrocket Raty to top 3 of the Islanders prospects if he keeps this play up. I also forgot about poor Simon Holmstrom in mine. Poor season at bridgeport made me forget him

Yeah, Hawks have a pretty impressive group of D. It surprised me Kaiser didn't go higher last year. Same with Del Mastro this year, especially with his play at the u18. His offense is a work in progress, but d_men with his frame and skating, they have to go higher. I have a feeling that one is gonna turn out good for the Hawks. Allan pick was criticized heavily, but if he pans out he's gonna be a big nasty minute muncher, that's worth a late 1st.

i'm just disappointed that he couldn't come over to Juniors this past year like the plan was

I think it would have helped his development a lot to go put up a bunch of points in the OHL but unfortunately Covid got in the way

Seider - Top RD
Edvinsson - 1st or 2nd Pairing LD
Cossa - Starting goalie
Veleno - 2-3C
Raymond - Top six winger
Berggren - Top six winger
Johansson - Bottom pairing D
Soderblom - Maybe a middle six winger and PP specialist.
McIsaac - Bottom pairing D
Savage - Bottom 6 forward who PKs

Tough to narrow it to 10.
Hate leaving Niederbach, Wallinder, Sebrango and Tuomisto off - but choices need to be made.
Had Viro in - dropped him on the edit.
Too many D now.

So hard to narrow that you somehow didnt list the #6 overall pick from this year's draft....and I thought you were high on him!
