Just waiting for this board to explode.

I wouldn't give him away; but if a really good deal comes along, Gorton will have to at least consider it.

I'd be surprised if it happens.

Not panicking yet, this is only bad if:

a.) they actually do it and:

b.) the return isn't very, very, VERY good.

Don't trade Girardi for Vatanen
Re-sign Girardi
Choose Boyle over Stralman
Trade Duclair for Yandle
Keep Klein
Trade Yandle (if it happens)

Great series of moves for the Rangers' defense..........

I never felt like he "fit," for whatever that's worth, though I'd still rather see him long term than Girardi.

No idea at all about what a return could be. Kind of scary territory.

Moving Yandle really doesn't give us the cap space for a significant acquisition.

Depends on the return, but they moved a good amount to get Yandle in the first place. I would rather dump Boyle.

Remember when TSN said that Edmonton was talking about #16 OA for Talbot?

Why? I thought Sather said Yandle was a player he had his eye on for a long time when the Rangers acquired him. Did the team see something it doesn't like in his play within the context of the Rangers team system that the scouts didn't notice when watching him play for Arizona?
