Why did they not put the laces?
The key is honoring the 1924 team.
If that 1924-5 team was not a success it is unlikely the NHL would then expand into New York, Detroit and Chicago.
Why did they not put the laces?
Cant wait to grab one for $25 at TJ Maxx.
Looks like a long sleeve black sweater from JC Penny with shiny gold duct tape and a sticker on the chest.
The brown (ick) is too dull and the gold is too bright. I don't like the #s down on the elbows either, they belong on the upper arms.
Only thing that works for me is the patch on the chest.
Are the numbers that reflective white crap that Buffalo used?
No, they look very felt-like, with cross stitching. They basically look like the 1924 jerseys:
Absolutely fantastic looking jerseys. Love the sweater style, crew neck collar.
I'm pretty sure MTL's yet-to-be unveiled WC jersey will have the same collar treatment.
And why do people want laces on the throwback sweater?
This jersey is throwing way back to the 1920's yo! 40 years before laces.
The numbers will be on the upper arms once the players are wearing their shoulder pads.
Insanely horrible. Where is it written that just because you're an original six team, you always have to look backward and pay homage to the past with a retro look?
Bruins logo could use updating. Hasn't really changed much in 50 years.
There is no way those numbers will be on their shoulders. They are almost down on the forearm of the jersey. Dislike these so much. Was hopeful for more.
