Doesn’t need one. It goes without saying. He’s so good that I shake my head when people say he should be benched because he’s having an awful night. He’s two shifts away from two points every day of the week.

Lol. Imagine watching the Hawks win 7-2 and still being negative. 
I’m going to like this knowing that it probably won’t age well.
I lived in Tampa the last couple years so I would love to get at least one win to talk shit to my friends.

It was a Laugher forvtyexHawksxaftervtgecsplurgevifvgoalsvin the 3rd...but it was NOT your classic "Laugher"...usually in such big score wins you barrage the opps....in a sense areverse of last game when Hawks coukd not buy many goalscfromntgeir barrage and domination of possession and Detroit capitalized on their fewer chances and Detroit got the better goaltending...sobin that game stats lied.....Tomight the exact same thing in reverse....Hawjjs were the capitalists and gotvtge better goaltending....so neither gamevwentvacvordibgvto expectation given the possession stats.
That's hockey...it does notvalwayscgobto plan.
2 thing for sure though....Hawks closer to a bottom feeder like Detroit than to the REAL CONTTENDER teams who Dominate AND actualky then outscore the opos CONSIDTTENTLY ...whonfo as expected most ofvtge games they pkay.
So TB coming up...The truth will be on display. Give up 45 shots to TB and I doubt Hawks will be laughing.

Yeah, lets just ignore the fact that Detroit racked up those shot totals by just flipping it on net from either the blue line or the boards over and over again. Again, if those teams want to do that so that they can flirt with 50 shots they can go nuts.

And someone is always going to gain 2 points. OT and both teams gain. Those situations are tough to gain ground against.

I’m aware. It’s a byproduct of team defense. The goaltender certainly can’t control how many shots he faces.

The point is, when there's 16 and 12 or so point spreads left of those top teams playing each other...lots points at the top of the standings are still a guaranteed loss.
Thus, we don't have any massive pressure to win all the games against the best teams, just have to maintain as best as we can and hopefully do well against the other teams like Dallas/Nash.

My eyes are glazing over. The most startling stat is that Hawks had only 31 seconds of PP time.
