No, you didn't see that coming. After that Silfvernerg penalty we played a heck of a defensive game for 6 minutes. Even that goal wasn't a defensive breakdown. It was all on Rinne. So had Rinne stopped such a easy puck the game would've (should've) ended 3-1.

I was pretty pissed that Rinne didn't stop that. Then I saw the replay and I'm like "oh, that sucks."

I also just noticed this halfway through the 3rd period but Forslund and Hedican call Arvidsson "Ardvidsson."

Did you not see that puck completely change direction off Josi's leg? Rinne stops that puck with his eyes closed if it doesn't take a deflection.

Starting to get cautiously optimistic. We were so good at home last year and we've really gotten into their heads. Outplayed them in both games, capitalized opportunities and Rinne has outdueled Gibson.

Actually I did not see that.

It's all good. I didn't see it live either and was pissed because that looked like it should've been an easy save. Then they showed the replay and it took a pretty big deflection off the inside of Josi's leg.

Unfortunate. Luckily it didn't bite the team in the ass because prior to that they were playing terrific defensively to hold on to that lead.

Worked for wings and Hawks against us and they have an insanely good goalie on the bench. I'd say yes.
