Speculation: Who do you see being waived from your team?

Brian Flynn
Jordan Binnington
Chris Butler.

Have at it rest of the league. Only guys I'd miss are Sundqvist, Binnington and Butler because they are good for the AHL team, but I don't want any of them in the NHL. Maybe Sundqvist in the NHL as a 4th line/PK specialist if he can find any offensive upside (10-15 point guy is all I ask).

I liked Wotherspoon in junior and thought he was a good pick by the Flames.
Do you see any hope for him becoming a regular NHL'er at this point?

With Detroit, it really depends what Larkin's cap hit ends up being.

IMO, worst case scenario is both Witkowski and Frk are waived.

It could also be one or the other, and it could also be no one gets waived at all.

He's just not quick enough on an energy line to be efficient and he's not exactly as intimidating in NHL with big players around to just rely on his size. That and also some illuminated development team thinking he could be a center.

For the Canucks the only real options are granlund/gaunce/Biega. Outside chance Nilsson

Would make sense for those guys, I am fine to lose Gaunce, he hasn't proven to be an NHL regular yet, Granlund I hope for a bounce back, would be bummed to lose Biega, I just like the fight he gives every shift even if he's not the worlds best player.

I think Kamenev is still waiver exempt for this season. If so, the only guys I could see getting waived are guys we picked up from waivers, Nieto and Barberio. Nothing exciting.

How do habs fans feel about a McCarron for bailey swap? Bailey brings speed and scoring potential, McCarron brings size and not much else. Sabres don't "need bailey" though giving up early is a meh choice...but they do need size and sandpaper...
