For several years maybe. Or they could draft well in the lower rounds. The whole you can’t get anyone good after pick 5-10 is ridiculous.

Develop your young guys properly. Pay scouts who know what they’re doing. There are good ones out there

Teams who draft high up several years in a row will have to let go good players eventually. My idea actually increases player movement.

I think they should place an open broadcast mic on both benches during the game. That would add color to the games. Nothing like a little reality TV. Leave the refs mics on too.

Bring back the Rover, the 7th player on the ice! The NHL deleted the Rover in 1917.

According to Wikipedia: Tyson Barrie, Brent Burns, Dustin Byfuglien, Erik Karlsson, and Sandis Ozolinsh would all be good Rovers as they could play offense and defense. I would add PK Subban and Roman Josi.
